Medical Weightloss Team
Our Medical Weight Loss Team brings together clinical expertise and personalised nutrition support. Dr Steven Kinnear provides medical assessment, prescribing and ongoing monitoring for weight loss treatments such as Wegovy® and Mounjaro®, while Kathryn Duff, our in-house Registered Dietitian, supports patients with tailored nutrition plans. Together, they offer a balanced, medically supervised approach to weight loss, with medication and dietitian support available independently or in combination for safe, sustainable results.

What to expect
We provide assessment and ongoing care for prescription weight loss medications such as Wegovy® (semaglutide) and Mounjaro® (tirzepatide). These once-weekly injectable treatments help reduce appetite and increase feelings of fullness as part of a reduced-calorie, active lifestyle. Suitable for adults with an elevated BMI and weight-related health conditions, treatment is only offered following a comprehensive medical assessment with Dr Kinnear, alongside regular follow-up and clinical support.
Alongside medication, patients can have access to our highly experienced in-house Registered Dietitian, who plays a key role in achieving safe, sustainable results. Dietitian support can be used to maximise the effectiveness of injections or as a standalone alternative, providing personalised nutrition plans, behaviour change support, and long-term strategies that go far beyond short-term weight loss.
How we can help
Prescription weight loss injections such as Wegovy® and Mounjaro® can be an effective tool for people who have struggled to lose weight through diet and lifestyle changes alone.
Used as part of a medically supervised programme, they support weight loss by addressing the biological drivers of appetite and hunger.
These treatments can help by:
-
Reducing appetite and food cravings, making it easier to stick to a calorie-controlled diet
-
Increasing feelings of fullness, so you feel satisfied with smaller portions
-
Supporting steady, sustainable weight loss rather than rapid, short-term changes
-
Improving metabolic health, including benefits for blood sugar control and insulin resistance
-
Reducing weight-related health risks, such as those linked to Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure
When combined with medical oversight and dietitian support, Weight loss injections form part of a responsible, long-term approach to improving health, confidence and overall wellbeing.
