Our specialist-led Allergy Clinic at Dundonald Consulting Rooms offers a comprehensive range of services to assess, diagnose, and manage allergies and eczema for both adults and children across Belfast.

From your initial consultation through to diagnosis, testing, and treatment, we provide tailored care for a wide range of allergic conditions, including environmental allergies and, for children, selected food allergies.

Allergy Testing

Skin prick testing and blood tests available

Specific IgE blood tests or extended panel testing (up to 295 IgE allergen markers via finger prick or blood sample)

Allergy Diagnosis

Full diagnostic support to identify environmental and food allergies

Environmental Allergy Immunotherapy

Sublingual immunotherapy (drops or dissolvable tablets) for dust mites, pollen, and pet allergies

Initiated in clinic and maintained at home

Remote follow-up included in the cost, with in-clinic follow-up available if preferred

Food Oral Immunotherapy (Children Only)

Carefully supervised desensitisation process

Maintained at home with regular in-clinic updates ideally every 2–4 weeks

Eczema Consultations

Assessment and personalised treatment planning

Skin prick and blood testing where appropriate (patch testing not currently offered)

Prescription and skincare regimen recommendations

Asthma Assessment

Diagnostic consultation and testing to support asthma management

Specialist Consultations for FPIES and EoE

Initial assessment available

Referral to trusted private specialists when required

Collaborative Care

We work closely with a network of trusted professionals, including specialist dietitians and an allergy psychologist. Where appropriate, we can refer you for additional support to ensure the best possible outcomes for your health and wellbeing.
