Consultant Gynaecologist
Dr Ralph Roberts
Dr Roberts is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Ulster Hospital. He covers all aspects of benign gynaecology.
He is a subspecialist in reproductive medicine and has particular interests in fertility, psychosexual health, prolapse and pelvic floor surgery.
Dr Roberts has pioneered a number of infertility services in both the public and private sectors in Northern Ireland.
Consultant Gynaecologist
Dr Penny Hill
Dr Hill is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Ulster Hospital.
She covers all aspects of benign gynaecology but has a particular interest in urogynaecology, prolapse and pelvic floor surgery.
General Practitioner
Dr steven kinnear
Dr Kinnear is a GP with almost 20 years experience and offers a highly bespoke and personalised approach to General Practice.
He offers a full range of GP services for everyone from babies through to the elderly and has particular interests in musculoskeletal problems, joint and soft tissue injection, minor surgery, mental and psychological health, aviation and travel medicine, children's health, occupational health including routine medicals and assessments, and community based palliative and end of life care.
Consultant Cardioligist
Dr Peter McKavanagh
Dr McKavanagh is a Consultant Cardiologist working at the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald and Royal Victoria hospital in Belfast.
Dr McKavanagh has expertise in all aspects of cardiology including general and acute cardiology; coronary artery disease; interventional cardiology (angioplasty and stenting); cardiac CT; heart failure; cholesterol; and hypertension management.
He is a specialist in interventional cardiology, performing coronary artery interventions and stenting at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
Consultant Dermatologist
Dr Kevin McKenna
Dr McKenna is a Consultant Dermatologist based in the Belfast Trust in Northern Ireland.
He has contributed to 128 research publications in the scientific journals and has expertise in a wide range of dermatology including: photodermatology, photodynamic therapy, psoriasis, acne, biological therapy, basal cell carcinoma, contact dermatitis and allergy.
Dr McKenna carries out skin biopsies and skin lesion excisions at DCR.
Consultant Urologist
Mr Sam Gray
Mr Sam Gray is a Consultant Urologist based at the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald.
He has expertise in all areas of urology, with a particular interest in: prostate disease, including prostate cancer; urinary tract disorders; and kidney stones.
Consultant Respiratory Physician
Dr Stephen Rowan
Dr Rowan is a Consultant Respiratory Physician at the Ulster Hospital.
He is the Clinical Lead for Lung Cancer and Interventional Bronchoscopy using Endobrochial Ultrasound.
Dr Rowan's specialist clinical interests include: lung cancer, bronchiectasis, bronchoscopy and pleural disease.
Consultant Clinical Oncologist
Dr Paul Henry
Dr Henry is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based at the Ulster Hospital.
He specialises in treatment of the following cancers: breast; lung; urological organs (kidneys, bladder and prostate); bone; colorectal (bowel); thyroid, soft tissues and immune system (lymphoma).
Dr Henry offers home chemotherapy where appropriate.
Consultant Haematology Physician
Dr Moulod El-Agnaf
Dr El-Agnaf is a Consultant Haematologist based at the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald.
Consultant in General Medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes, and Chemical Pathology
Prof. Tom Trinick OBE
Prof Trinick is triple accredited in General Medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes, and Chemical Pathology.
He qualified in Medicine from Queens University Belfast in 1977 and joined the Consultant Medical Staff of the Ulster, Ards and Bangor Hospitals in 1988.
Appointed as a visiting Professor to the University of Ulster in Sports Science, publishing 85 papers.
Clinical Director for Laboratory medicine, on the Consultant on call rota for over 30 years, and running clinics in General Medicine, Lipid Management and Testosterone Deficiency, Prof. Trinick has also sat on many Department of Health and Area Board Committees.
Married with three children, his interests include rowing, sailing and dancing.
